I have enclosed a copy of a letter that I mailed to Father Jerry Calhoun and forwarded a copy to you last year regarding the situation at St. Francis de Sales, (my spiritual home). Just so you might remember who I am. The situation there is still tense and I am praying to be a channel of peace and reconciliation between my brothers and sisters. Two of the families that are in conflict are side by side on my prayer list, and I do not believe in coincidence. I dearly love St. Francis de Sales, but I have felt the pressure of an older congregation set in it s ways. Not necessarily right or wrong just one set way of doing things. We have many mothers, grandparents, aunts, uncles and etc. in our group. In a nutshell, FATHERS is trying to keep both parents and all family involved in the children s lives after the trauma of divorce. We are working to change laws to make it easier to stay married. We are working to awaken society to what I believe is becoming a national crisis, divorce.
