I am sending you a brief outline and the faxes sent from myself to the Paducah Sun, along with the last story that ran 12/19/04. As you may be aware the group has been running stories, meeting announcements, etc. in the sports section of the Paducah Sun on Sunday for the last 18 months. Judge Sanderson was the guest speaker at one of our meetings. She made comments that were not true and very misleading. She has presided over the cases of half the members of our group. We have criticized her, being very careful to accurately present our side of the issues. The story I have enclosed was the last one that the Paducah Sun would run, it ran 12/19/04. The Paducah Sun did not contact us in any way to notify us that we had infringed on any policy or guidelines in any shape, form or fashion. They simply stopped communicating. The sales rep. would not even return my calls. After the next ad did not run, and the paper would not respond, I went to their offices without an appointment. I met with the sales rep. and one young lady that I believe was her direct supervisor. They would not say why we could run no more announcements, and would not let me talk to anyone of authority at the paper. The young lady did say that three lawyers had written letters to the paper, and inferred that they were very stern as to the consequences of running anything else regarding FATHERS.
